The Colbert Galleria was built in 1826 next to the popular Vivienne. It is now home to the Institut National de l'Histoire des Arts.
At the center of its glass rotunda is a bronze copy of the Dying Eurydice (1822) by Charles-François Lebœuf (Nanteuil). The original marble sculpture is in the Louvre
