most vessels in the inlet are pleasure boats, yet there are a few oddities...this is the MV Cape Pine, built in 1942 for service as a US navy submarine hunter...after WW2 it went to the US Coast Guard for a couple of years, and then was re-fitted as a packer boat and incorporated into the BC salmon and herring fleets...it is currently owned by the Maritime Heritage Society of Vancouver
