Wind Power.jpg

Near Vanderhoof, B.C.

This is for Jeff :)
Bits and pieces of "Okie trees" have been transported
along our Hwy. 16 for several months now. Recently
we had time to stop for a shot, but I couldn't persuade
my husband to sit on the blade :)

Canon EOS 6D
1/125s f/10.0 at 17.0mm iso200 full exif

That beautiful cloudscape first caught my eye! As for wind turbines, I like to paraphrase a poem, 'I think that I will never see a turbine lovely as a tree." Voted.

LOL. I done blame him!
It is probably headed my way! Have them paint some leaves and branches on it!

Toujours très impressionnant de croiser un routier transportant une pale d'éolienne! V

That looks huge! Hopefully you don't have to overtake one. Wind or sun power, better than the alternatives

Great shot. The size is amazing. Hope they don't encounter curves. "V"

that is really large; never seen one transported, but ours must be on a smaller scale

good to see alternate power sources moving into place...the tower looks massive...
