This looks like Ocala National forest. I love the roads in their, especially when they are like this. The shadows of the trees on the road make it interesting. I do like the original a little better, though.

Lovely colors and leading line, Dale. I like the way you increased the color saturation. But I agree with Liz that there is something just a tad off in the shadowing on the road. Still a very nice full sun image.

Did you brighten the shadows in this image, too? Plus is this your "special" country road where you go for photo opts? It looks like you might be able find lots of interesting things to photograph. Although I like the play of shadow & light, I still get a weird feeling that the shadows should be darker and less orange on the road.
