August 2016: This is the same Lowepro Format BP 150 backpack as in the previous image but reconficured with some different equipment for my Sony a7RII.
The Sony SAL 70-300G/LA-EA3 has been replaced with the quite sharp native Sony FE 70-300G lens (upper right) which also has image stabilization.
The old Minolta 50mm f1.7/LA-EA4 has been replaced with the very light and surprisingly high quality optic, the inexpensive FE 50mm f1.8 (lower left). The FE16-35ZA (upper right) and a7RII w/Sony PZ18-105 f4.0 remain unchanged.
(EDIT February 2018: The APS-C 18-105 has been replaced by the fatter and 200gr heavier FF FE24-105G. It fits in the backpack the same however)
For daily use, I’ve removed the travel charger, small flash and some other accessories which makes this gear a bit lighter although the 24-105 makes it weightier. It is my everyday carry around pack.
And it's very small at 5.5” thick x 9.5”x12” exterior size and 8.5 lbs.
In real world usage its always less that that because the camera and one lens (usually approx.
3 lbs) is not in the backpack while I'm walking around.
The camera neck-strap is detached and is not shown here.
