high

today the federal government announced that medical marijuana users can now grow their own plants, within limits, and in amounts relative to their prescribed daily dosages...as it turns out getting a prescription is very easy, which has bolstered the argument against the move...at the same time the feds are opening public discussions with a view to legalizing marijuana for recreational use in the near future...some people take the high road and maintain that all drugs are bad, while others argue that if alcohol is legal and readily available, why not a soft drug like pot

this plant was one of several proudly displayed at a house I visited recently...harvest is evidently a month or two away, so had to settle for a cold beer...maybe that is almost the same thing though...the debate here is ongoing, and always contentious

Well, the plant and your photo of it is attractive. Vote.

Good to hear that - I am one of those that believe and have always believed it should be legal - subject to the same conditions and restraints as alcohol. Sam's comment is very much true. Most of the people against it either have a giant blown out of proportion idea of what it is really like or are a member of a law enforcement organization that makes money by keeping it illegal and, of course, the criminals who make money on it and would not if it were legal. Great looking plant and photo.

Nice image and background story for discussion. Legalization is on our ballot in an election later this month. I'm all for it and don't buy the arguments that it is a gateway to harder drugs. The opponents remind me of the US prohibitionists from early last century.

A fine plant, if it eases pain then I vote use it.

If it helps people in pain, I am all for it.

As a migraine sufferer I am for legalization. Legalization will be on the ballot in California in November and it is likely it will pass. Healthy looking plant by the way.

If it helps someone who is in pain then why not...it's a pretty plant too.

I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I guess I'm lucky I don't need them.
