Spent an afternoon exploring the old deserted cell
blocks at this jail which operated from 1823-1868.
Some of the cells are 'inhabited' by figures like this
plastic Alice Cooper lookalike depicting former prisoners.
Didn't realise until later that the jail is said to be
haunted by an executed convict who hurls abuse at visitors!
Thankfully nowhere to be seen during my visit!
