The most impressive array of glacial erratics that I know is on the east side of Vermont Route 53, close to the entrance to Branbury State Park (it's about halfway between Brandon and Middlebury, on Lake Dunmore--a good place to take the family for a swim and/or a picnic). The erratic close to the highway in another picture will signal that you're close--it's on Route 53, too. Piled in the gloom under a thick forest canopy, these remains from an ancient roller derby are deucedly hard to photograph. Some day I'll go there with a tripod and set the camera for timed release and serious bracketing. For now, this is the best I've got.
