Bolete?

Given the recent rains (hooray!) some fungi is popping up, such as this tiny one, which may be a Boletus.

Yes I also think of a boletus to be sure you need to look under the hat a boletus has tubes, nice sharpness eand color BV++

Don't know but wouldn't try it. I studied them long enough to agree with Isabel. Very little nutritional value to begin with so why try it? Good photo though. Vote.

What pleasing colors. My husband and I took a mushroom identification class for 2 days and the best thing we learned was not to trust our judgment as to whether or not they were safe to eat.

It looks like a boletus Sp. to me. They are early this year, here too because of the rain.
