Interesting - a local dog, a Giant Schnauzer, laid a wreath at our local cenotaph on Remembrance day for the dogs that perished in the wars. He looked very similar to this Airedale. I will post a picture of the Schnauzer today. He made headlines in our local newspaper - and I got to cover the story photo wise :) It was a challenge - such a black dog on white snow :( This dog works at a local old age home as a "pet-therapy service" dog - a beauty !!
