Near the Tate Modern there are high rise luxury apartments that are easily viewable from the Tate's observation deck. We could not get over how beautiful they were, as in this example with Buddha placed at the apex of the triangular room. These rooms did have shades, but all were open to display the beautiful interior decor.
A funny side note. When packing for this trip and trying to think of ways to save weight and space, I almost decided to leave my 70-300 behind. I didn't think I would need it that much, but in the end thought what if I missed a really good shot because I didn't have it. Thankfully, I really used it a lot - especially when up high in the Tate, Sky Garden, and other vantage points and a lot of times on the ground as well. I used it and my super wide 16-35 much, much more than my normal go to lens 24-70.
