It is difficult to get an interesting photo of lorikeets simply because we see so many photos of them.
This is a different take that works well and has the addition of the relationship between the two birds with one seemingly taking care of the other.
The rain also has the photographic benefit of separating the feathers and allowing them to stand out in the image.
