The Lamb

North Berwick

I don't know why the island is called The Lamb.
But I do know it is owned by Uri Geller.

You have seas there that are made of milk???
This is a rather different image. And yes, I mean that in a good way.

Bill:

Here is a theory, it could be all wet.

This formation resembles a formation that is caused by glacial erosion called a "Roche Mountonnée". Which got its name from a french geologist that thought the formation's shape resembled the "mountonnée" wigs of the day, which took the shape of a sheep lying down. The back of the wigs resembled the the smooth, sloping back and hindquarters of the animal.

From a distance this looks small, so maybe they thought it looked more like a lamb.

Just a guess.

People who bend spoons get to own islands. Apparently that's the way the world works.

I like the dreamy feeling from the long exposure, and your use of monotone here is perfect.

Wonderful capture although I think he should give it to the people of North Berwick!

Minimalism but it punches well.
Perhaps an upside down bent spoon.

This is a fascinating way of depicting it. "V"
