Hauenguano Square is located at the junction of the two main streets of Old Rauma: Kauppakatu and Kuninkaankatu.
The town was surrounded by a wooden customs wall from the early seventeenth century to 1808.
At the time the entrance to the town was through the Pori customs, which was located here.
Rauma Art Museum is located in Pinnala House and the area is home to artisan's workshops and shops.
