the view east from the tip of Rebecca Spit, a sliver of land sticking into the Salish Sea...hardly a classic white sand beach, yet appealing in it's own way...across the water towards the right is Cortes Island, visited the previous day...a bit smaller and darker to the left is Subtle Island...that is privately owned, and in fact sold just a couple of years ago for CAN$ 29 million...not exactly a subtle price tag
