We had stopped for our first real break after leaving Aberdeen in the morning. The trail beyond the gate to the estate looked very inviting. She wanted to do a short run in spite of the fact that this was meant to be a short break. I wish we had more time. I would have joined her and we could have made it to Loch Callater about 3 miles away!
