(Doctor Malachi Treat {1735 – 1795} was the Physician General of the Northern Department of the Continental Army. He died in the New York Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1795. Judge Richard Samuel Treat {1769 - 1837} was Doctor Treat's nephew, son of his brother Joseph Treat.)
