This little eagle was hatched on February 22. That is two months later than usual for our Louisiana eagles. It still cannot fly but is trying its wings and its voice on a branch near the nest. One parent stayed behind from migration to Canada to teach it to fly and hunt. It is getting very hot in Louisiana for the eagles.
