The venue of the Town Hall of Padua.
Right in front of the university in the Bo Palace, we find the Palace of the Town Hall of Padua, formed by the unification, in different epochs, of different palaces: the 16th-century Moroni Palace (which traditionally lends its name to the whole complex of buildings) that overlooks Piazza delle Erbe and connects to Palazzo della Ragione, the medieval Palazzo del Consiglio and Palazzo degli Anziani, which are united by the Tower overlooking Piazza della Frutta, and the wing Moretti-Scarpari, built between the two World Wars on Via VIII Febbraio in order to become the see of the new offices of the Town Hall.
Il Palazzo del Podestà
The former Palazzo del Podestà was entirely restored in the 16th century by architect Andrea Moroni, from whom its name stems, and it represents one of the most prestigious instances of style in Veneto.
