After several days of trying, I managed to get a (mostly) in focus shot of my backyard Cooper's Hawk in flight.

I have to admit I do miss the extra reach when using a FF camera but I love the IQ and ability to use a much higher ISO without penalty. Paul

I am fairly sure this guy is tired of seeing me. I may have to drop to a shorter lens with faster auto focus and just accept a more aggressive crop. Or borrow my wife's crop sensor body
