We visit the Siida Sami Museum for information on the indigenous
Sami people who today inhabit the far northern reaches of
Norway, Sweden, Finland, and parts of Russia.

This old photograph shows a winter movement using reindeer
to pull the sleds. About 10% of the current Sami people
are still involved with semi-nomadic reindeer herding.
