Update on my father ~
My dad crashed in rehab 12 days ago and was taken to the ER with aspiration pneumonia.
After 9 days in the ICU and a PEG tube placement for tube feedings, we have seen him make a miraculous turnaround!
I think he was transferred back to rehab today for another 6-7 days of therapy... (Will know more once I hear from my mother this evening)
He's still not able to walk; still has a tube feeding in place, but is allowed to have food by mouth now; and has a long road ahead.

Please forgive my absence from Pbase but I've been running back & forth to NJ.
Gosh, I miss all my Pbase friends so much!
