Three Cygnets - 5 days Old

Las Gallinas Wildlife Ponds, San Rafael, CA

These are the three cygnets born to one pair of Mute Swans at our ponds.
Mom was busy trying to take a bath, and the young 'uns kept getting dunked in the process.

Sweet capture. Like how each baby has his/her own expression as they try to follow mom. I, too, never knew what baby swans were called. Thanks for educating me and any others who also didn't know.

Adorable!!!! I like that you captured part of mom in the process and managed to get the drops of water as they splashed over the cygnets (never knew what baby swans were called). Very crisp, great colors. Nicely captured!
