A Blending of Old and New Architecture

Rome, Italy

In the campo de' Fiori Square, you can see examples, such as this one, where ancient facades have been incorporated into newer buildings. They use what is left of the front of an old building and build a more modern structure on the back of it. I found this quite interesting.
