I picked up my new handmade umbrella at Le Véritable Cherbourg and am ready to star on France TF1 news channel after my interview with reporters!
Met the owner of the umbrella manufactory and was given a private tour of the room where the brollies are made!
It was fascinating to say the least!!

We drove along the Cherbourg peninsula through heavy rains and wind to Granville for the night.
Enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner - Dover sole!

On to Brittany today!
