That afternoon mom and dad took me outside to enjoy the sunshine. Despite my earlier display of walking prowess, I had trouble standing and could only wobble a short distance on my own. Here I am lapping up some water with a mix of wet food in it. For some reason, this became my preferred method of drinking water.

Because our high-altitude sun is so very intense with less atmosphere to go through, dad held an umbrella over me so that I didn't overheat. With only a few minutes of sun exposure, my coat would otherwise become unpleasantly hot to the touch.
