Ah, back to one of your favourite subjects. The lines in this barely need mentioning, so instead I'll say that I like the way the heat haze blurs the water tower.
Down in Mittagong in the southern highlands here there is a rail line which is also used by coal freight trains. Over the top of the line at the station is a pedestrian bridge, which is predominantly metal grating. On one occasion I thought to get a nice, leading line shot of one of those trains coming along from the south.
Ain't making THAT mistake again. Those diesels shoot the heat from the engines straight up, as we see here. After the locos (for there were multiples) passed through I was standing there looking like Wyle R Coyote after one of his worst plans backfired. You really don't know trains until you've had three 82 class locos belch their exhaust up at you while you're standing on a steel mesh bridge.

Cool shot of this rolling "pipeline."

interesting, the way the hot exhausts from the engine distort the water tower... very nice

Perspective at it's best in this well shot image. They low angle of capture works beautifully in this well detailed and nicely composed shot. The orange colors really jump out in this image as do the engine's lights. I really think this adds a lot of power and energy to your photograph. Very nicely done Julie!! Voted++

This is really excellent with this perspective from this vantage point. Really like the tones, the blur from the heat of the diesel engines and that soft sky. "V"
