Cobweb spider (Enoplognatha ovata)

in my garden

A beautiful little spider with a colourful pattern. Apparently this is a non-native species, though now widespread and harmless.

It is a lovely one...she has legs like Cyd Charisse :)

Elle est bien cachée sous la feuille, prête à capturer sa proie! Une très belle observation! V

seems a neighbour to be valued, a spider with a light touch...it certainly looks a subtle predator..

That abdomen is like a miniature tennis ball, and such a contrast to its long, slender, translucent legs.

Such a pretty spider with its gelatinous looking legs and huge belly - (babies perhaps?)
