Margaretia dorus, probable marine alga, 14 cm. Wheeler Formation, Middle Cambrian. House Range, Millard County, Utah, USA

Inferred to have been a green alga "closely resembling modern Caulerpa" by Satterthwait (1976) and Conway Morris & Robison (1988).

These have recently been shown to have been cylindrical and sometimes associated with acorn worms.
