Patriot Games

This week marks the centenary of the Easter Rising which was a pivotal event in the fight for Irish freedom.
When taking some photos of Fudge in the garden, I noticed these balls corresponded with the colours of the Irish flag

suitably stalwart...the ill-fated rising of 1916 was certainly a seminal event in Irish history...coverage of commemorative events has reached Canada too...quite a few of us Irish look back in wonder..
