this is difficult to explain...the mural, in West Vancouver, purports to portray Vancouver in 1792, when George Vancouver, master of the two ships to the right, first met with two other ships from Spain...together they mapped the coast, in a rare spirit of co-operation....of the dominant islands, downtown Vancouver lies to the right, while the still relatively pristine Stanley Park lies to the left...smoke rises from a few native villages, including one at Kitsilano Beach towards the lower right above the scooter's handlebars
