An early morning flight to Kushiro on the island of Hokkaido brings
us very different weather. There is snow everywhere and the temps
are a little above freezing - this is more what we are expecting.

We are also not alone at the Crane Center. There are photographers
all over the place waiting for the cranes and the other birds to
have their afternoon feeding.
