We arrive at the Capitol Hotel Tokyo after an 11-hour flight and a
2-hour bus ride from Narita Airport to meet the 8 other guests.

We spend the following day in Tokyo and then fly north to
Kushiro on the eastern coast of the island of Hokkaido. We
spend 4 days in this winter wonderland (that means cold)
viewing its bird life and leave from Sapporo on the
western coast of Hokkaido to return to Tokyo.
