Visited Robinson Preserve and managed a few shots of this beautiful owlet perched high up in a long needled pine.
They had the nesting area (the parents took over an osprey's nest) roped off to protect the single owlet from tourests getting too close.
We were told this owlet hatched on/about 9 January.
