March 9

Missouri City, Texas

This is Oyster Creek, which meanders through Sugar Land and Missouri City.
The Spring wildflowers are blooming on the banks of the creek, but it was raining.
I stopped for a quick photo from the car window.
I've been terribly busy with work and family so I apologize for not spending more time
with my Pbase friends.

Oh - this looks like a lovely painting!
Such an appealing scene, love the fresh green...

Nicely composed, especially from a car window, and I like that marvelous green, giving it a very lush look. V.

You and me both.
It's interesting how deeply cut the bank is on this. It's not often seen down my way where creeks breaking their banks is par for the course (which tends to make one nervous about living that close to them). This one seems to have a very well defined water flow.

It looks so fresh and green and so pretty in this lovely image. V
