The River Medway at high tide.

River Medway , Kent , UK

V.Imp.:Apparently Mussolini, the Italian Dictator, USED TO WRITE "V.Imp" on every third page,of any document he was supposed to read,to make people think he'd scrutinised the document.
More seriously folks,on the banks of the River Medway are signs warning of impending disaster. At high tide, the river level,is within 1 metre of the top of the riverbank. On the south bank, that could spell disaster should the bank collapse. It is very badly eroded in places.
