Artur Lemos and Rubens Menezes dos Santos, seated left and center, have learned how to program a smart phone to remotely control an Arduino microcontroller using Bluetooth. A microcontroller is a little computer that can receive signals from and control physical devices. In these students' project, a digitally-controlled lock will be the devices to be controlled.
