Rather muddy Oystercatcher

First attempt at taking the sort of pics I would normally take, but with toy camera. Problems of holding still and composing in LCD formidable, but have ordered a screen hood thing. N1 V3 still waiting for diagnosis after 2 weeks, never mind repair

other sizes: small medium original auto

Wow! This is a fabulous shot. The oystercatcher's muddy bill is something else. V

Wonderful candid of the muddy oystercatcher regardless of what camera was used.

Nicely done.

Beautiful shot of this interesting bird! Amazing how it gets its beak so muddy. I hear good things about the J5, but agree about the viewfinder. I have used a V2 for some time now with the CX 70-300. Love it! V

very nice capture with the toy camera. And I am with Don: a good shower must follow this.V

Great shot with the 'toy' camera. A good shower for you tonight, boy!

This is excellent, the challenges notwithstanding. That is pretty bad about the N1 V3, though...
