The text books say a cutting of frangipani needs to be left to harden off before planting into sandy soil. Husband brought this home from son's place sat it in a bucket and promptly forgot it. Bucket filled with water after rain and six months later it was discovered to have sprouted a bunch of roots, stuck it in the ground by now tall enough to need staking and this is it's first flower after 6 months in the ground :)
