The Embarcadero Palace is a building in the city of Santander. The Embarcadero Palace is located on the waterfront, next to the promenade and gardens of Pereda. Designed by Javier González de Riancho, with porch to the sea and angular turrets, it is projected in 1920 as passenger station building later used as headquarters of the Armed Police, and since it was reopened in 1985, serves as an exhibition hall and conferences. It is owned by the Harbour Authority, one of the areas designated by the Port of Santander to promote and disseminate the culture and maritime-port heritage. Both rooms are devoted to both own exhibitions as traveling exhibitions.
