Sings of Spring

Warrenton, Virginia

This male Yellow-rumped Warbler is starting to molt into his Spring breeding colors. This is the only warbler species that over-winter in Northern Virginia - - at least in my home town of Warrenton.
This shot is a little 'softer' than I'd like, but with the wind, overcast, and today's temp, it'll do!
Best viewed in 'original' size.
