I took a day off from work, and spent hours shopping for counter tops and tiles for our upcoming bathroom remodeling.
This 10 foot sheet of polished stone is NOT a contender. I can't afford it.
I did pick out some granite and bathroom tiles, flooring and features while at the stone shop.
Steven from Natural Stone Galleries was helpful and they had great selection. I will definitely YELP him in a good way.

Wonderful folding and bending of the stone layers by forces deep within the earth to create this lovely abstract from nature. Fine photo of it, Lynn. Vote.

For some reason I'm thinking Michelangelo meets Edvard Munch, also in a good way. It reminds me a bit of a Sistine painting, just smeared out. It's pretty, but I'm not sure I could live with it as the first thing that I see when I lurch out of bed and into the bathroom at 03:20 every morning to get ready for work. I think something a little less vibrant would serve better.

We just remodeled a bathroom and they sculpted a ten foot piece of granite for us, complete with the holes for the sinks and fixtures. I was amazed it all fit perfectly.
