Country Club Plaza

A combination of Christmas Lights (yes, during the month of January)
and special hints of red lights at the JC Nichols Fountain (to honor the hometown football team)
Light Up a Winter Night's Sky.

It's now minus -5 degrees actual temperature outside on the Plaza with a wind chill of minus -22.
However, these warm and festive lights lessen Winter's sting
and "Brighten Winter'.

I like night photography and this image is special with the composition and vibrant colors that brighten the winter scene.

The colors, especially the reds, really stand out against the blackness. You captured the scene very well. I like the tree in shadow that is about in the center and the streetlights that are like starbursts. I don't notice a much noise at all.

Beautifully lit and very nicely shot, Liz. The composition is super with the colorful fountain in front. How nice that they leave such pretty lights up past the holidays.
