Pop Century Resort

All around Hourglass Lake there are signs with special events that happened each year from the 50s to the 90s.
This sign tells about a couple of things that happened the year I was born (yes, I'm that old).

Hula Hoops are still very exercise today in 2016. Even for adults. But they sure don't cost $1.98 these days!!!
How cool to find a sign that tells you what happened the year you were born.
How scary to think that the 90's are now considered ancient history to young people today.

I also had a hula hoop for a short while. Nice sign. When I was born we were still fighting the Roman Empire. LOL

Colorful and eye-catching sign - and fun to see the trivia. I was three that year, but I did get a hula hoop within a couple of years of that, and loved it of course!
