Canyonlands National Park
Getting here requires an uphill hike of about 20 minutes over some very uneven ground. There are several theories as to how this particular land formation came about,
ranging from the impact of a meteor thousands of years ago, to a layer of earth being pushed up to the surface from far below.
From this view it is difficult to tell the perspective, but the crater is about 3 miles wide.
