Fetching the Mail

Snowed in at the moment (well not really, but who wants to drive in this stuff?). It is just about a mile round trip to the mailbox... Nice to strap on some cross country skis and ski off the front porch.

I know the motto of the USPS, but I think you're a tad optimistic in expecting any mail to have been delivered in those circumstances. The trees and tracks make a very attractive leading line out to the ridge and the colours of the sky, though. I also like the foreground light lighting up the nearby snow, trees and branches.
