Our American Holly Trees have lots of ripe red berries - - Every January we have American Robins (and Cedar Waxwings) that know how wonderful these ripe berries warm them up.

This robin is most attractive. Is it a type of thrush? Our robins more nearly resemble the European Robin though the similarity is superficial and they're not at all closely related.
