Lilly has a phobia about cameras. Actually, Lilly has a phobia about a lot of things. As a result of which when you try to take a photo of her, she usually starts looking much more "ratty" than usual with a "Oh pwease, don't, I'm onwy little" expression on her face.

Consequently I decided to photograph her looking at her best; that is to say, unconscious.
It's a very hard and tiring life being a Malchi; chasing the neighbourhood rabbits (and never even coming close to catching one), barking at other dogs walking up the street, trying to get some dinner before the cat eats it, enduring baths and, even worse, haircuts (though as you can see she hadn't had one for a while). It's quite exhausting, actually.
