La Paz Street, called at the beginning Peris and Valero, in honor of its founder, is one of the most important urban reforms of the past century. Peace Street, though obviously not as utterly transformed this part of the city, attracting trade and becoming together with the Eixample of Columbus in place of residence of the bourgeois class.
