What is worrisome is that this seems fine on my monitor....lol...I always worry when Jim's monitor, calibrated, seems to differ from mine.

Actually, it is also nice to see something taken and posted from way back in 2002....I like the image and its overall feel.

Just the candle. I took it into Lightroom, and just the upper left half of the candle and the flame are clipped. I can lower them a bit by decreasing the highlights.
Still a nice shot.

Is it just the candle that's overly bright or the whole image? I've tried reducing the brightness but it loses the effect. Old 2 megapixel jpeg and likely beyond my Photoshop skills. Steve
